| This box with a swing handle was inspired by shaker tools. The lid can be closed to hide it from view, making it perfect for storing digital gadgets, chopstick rests, coasters, and other small items around the dining table. It is also just the right size to be used as an accessory box or seasoning container with the lid open. The swinging handle can be held by hand when carrying it, and it can be tipped down out of the way when not in use. Axis shaker boxes are handmade with the simple beauty of the original shaker box, but with a size and functionality that is easy to use in modern Japanese life.
