| [In 2013, the tea plantation was recognized by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAQ) as one of the 36 sites in the world and the only tea plantation in Japan to be designated as a "World Agricultural Heritage Site" (GIAHS). Although it is a difficult and time-consuming process, it is still practiced today as a high-quality tea production technique to enhance the taste and aroma of tea. This product is made from 100% tea leaves (#1 & #2 teas) grown under the World Agricultural Heritage certification, and manufactured and packaged locally by JA, and is a safe and secure "World Agricultural Heritage" product without any mixture of ingredients. |
