Description
| Very popular! Matte and moist texture [fumed black]. Depending on the light, it changes to matte black or gray, and the reason for its popularity is that the color is not too strong even if it is black. It transforms into a luxurious dish for both Japanese and Western cuisine. *The size is perfect for holding a single dish. Everyone is surprised at how light it is! ----------------------------------------------------------------- Seto City, Aichi Prefecture, is the town of Setomono. Mugiyama Kiln has been in business since 1922, and their craftsmen carefully fire each and every piece of pottery. To strengthen the clay, the maximum temperature is raised to 1,320°C to burn off impurities remaining in the clay. Weak pieces will crack, but only those that remain are used as products. With the experience and techniques that have been developed since the Taisho era (1912-1926), we spare no pains and put our hearts into making durable vessels that can be used for a long time. [Surface] [The surface of the bowl has an uneven surface as if it were carved out of stone using a technique called "Ishime". [Backside] It is stamped with the Mugiyama Kiln mark. To prevent the glaze from baking onto the shelf, there is an unglazed area on the back side. *Because of the handmade nature of this product, there may be unevenness or variations in coloring. Please understand that we will deliver a product as close to the picture as possible. Microwave OK Oven OK Dishwasher OK |
