【Prologueより（Little Thunder)】
「一重まぶたの女性を描かないの？」「いろいろな人種の人を描かないのはなぜ？」「男の人の絵を描いてくれたらいいのに」……。長らく、こんなことを言われるたびに、いつも答えに困っていました（実は男性の絵もたくさん描いているのですが、気づいていない人が多いみたいです）。それで改めて考えてみて、やっと分かりました。
答えは簡単。“わたしは自分が描きたいと思うものを描いているだけだから”。
「彼女の絵を見ていると、描くのが好きでたまらないのが分かる。絵を描きたくさせる絵」
「彼女はすごく柔軟で、恐れなく変わっていく。そういうところが、好きです」
