Penguins living in the Falkland Islands.

[They are gentle, but that is not enough to fill their bellies.
They are gentle, but that's not enough to fill their bellies.
They are scary, but if you don't dive in, you can't catch your dream...].

[Contents of this book]
Ten thousand miles from Japan by plane and ship. Penguins live in the Falkland Islands.
Yusuke Okada, a nature photographer and live photographer of famous artists, spent several years capturing the drama of the penguins.
They move through a strong blowing dust storm. They make love under the pink sky and sometimes stand alone in the endless blue sea. The sky does not fly. The sea is quite swimmable. They walk on two legs. Mr. Okada captures the story of each of these birds as if he were taking a portrait of them.
If people take portraits of people, penguin portraits are taken by penguins.
So, was this work really taken by a human being? The penguins' point of view is so clear in this work that one might wonder if it was really taken by a human.
Penguins are, after all, alive. In the midst of beautiful and harsh nature, in a corner of the world
Penguins are still alive today in the midst of beautiful and harsh nature, in a corner of the world. Their appearance makes you feel tender every time you open the book, and gives you the energy to live for tomorrow.
This is an unprecedented photo collection of penguins that will give you the energy to live for tomorrow.
The afterword is written by TAKURO, a personal friend of the rock band GLAY, whom Mr. Okada has photographed live for many years.
