Description
| The highest grade of oil-smoke ink made from rapeseed oil. This ink is most suitable for gampi paper, torinoko paper, and paintings. It is the fruit of Koumeien Sumi Artisan's 60-odd years of secret knowledge of sumi ink making. Koiboku produces a shiny pure black color, while makuiboku produces a brownish black color. This ink is suitable for Chinese characters, kana calligraphy, and sutra writing. |
