| This is a mini-sized otsu made of straw wood from the Kiso region, which has an established reputation. This is a mini-sized Ohitsu. *The beautiful vertical grain of the wood and the copper tag give it a dignified beauty. *Ohitsu is used to store rice that has been cooked in a kamado or other cooking vessel, and to prepare it in a condition suitable for eating. The role of the hitsu is to store the rice cooked in a kamado, etc., while preparing it for eating. *Ohitsu is used to store rice in a pot. *Ohitsu absorbs excess water so that the rice is not sticky and fluffy. 保管する役目がおひつです。
☆おひつが余分な水分を吸収してくれるので、べとつかない、ふっくらした
ご飯がいただけます。 冷めても美味しいのはおひつのおかげ。
☆さわらは飯切り（飯台）やおひつなど調理道具に昔から使われており
台所の木製品用に定評のある材です。
※ご使用後はぬるま湯などで洗浄後、水分を拭き取り十分陰干し（自然乾燥）してください。
※制作・入荷までに時間がかかる事があります。ご予約の場合はご連絡くださいませ。
※保管は涼しい場所でお願いします。高温環境での保管や、ご使用前に無塗装の木地から木のヤニが出る事があります
（ヤニは天然の樹脂でひのき材等には普通に含まれます。身体への害はありません）
※ヤニのべたつきが気になる場合は、市販のエタノール（アルコール）を布等に含めせて拭取ってください。
