今回のテーマは「漕ぐ遊び、向上計画?」。「自然の中で楽しんで遊ぶ」。この言葉だけ聞けば、楽しく、簡単に聞こえる。しかし、実際にはそれほど甘くはない。穏やかな日もあれば、風が強い日、突然雨が降る、潮の流れがきつくなることもある。カヤックやSUP、サーフィンなど漕ぐ遊びと、キャンプや釣り、スノーケリング、トレッキングなどとリンクして遊ぶことは、自然の中で、自然を相手に過ごすということだ。自分の意思で行う遊びと、全くこちらの意思が通じない自然という相反する中での行為となる。自然というコンディションは、祈っても、お金を払っても手に入らない。それはすなわち、自然に合わせて遊び、楽しめばいいということだ 。
