| [TAKEYARI since 1888] Canvas is a familiar material that has supported the development of shipping routes in the Edo period, as truck covers, and during Japan's period of rapid economic growth. We use canvas made by Takeyari, which has a history of more than 100 years in Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture. This thick cotton canvas is made of thick yarn and has excellent strength* and durability. It is sulfide-dyed and then bio-washed, giving it the softest texture and unique vintage look of any canvas. The tartan check pattern is expressed in dobby, making this [made in Japan] canvas visually pleasing. Sewing is done in Kyoto, Japan, and is carefully finished. The zipper is the same color as the main body. |
