Description
| Soft Gauze Handkerchief -Traditional Colors of Japan Since ancient times, Japanese people have incorporated a variety of colors into their daily lives, discovering the world of delicate colors and appreciating the richness of their sentiments. We hope you will enjoy the colors and patterns created by the Japanese sense of beauty. The gauze material is soft to the touch and absorbent. Unspoken color: Kuchinashi pattern In early summer, white flowers of the Kuchinashi plant emit an aromatic fragrance, and from late autumn to early winter, small yellowish-red berries shaped like sake cups are borne. The fruit is called "kuchinashi" (meaning "without mouth") because its mouth does not open even when ripe, and the color of kuchinashi was also called "kuchinashi iro" (meaning "without speaking" or "without words"). |
