This large-sized handkerchief can be used not only as a handkerchief, but also as a bandana to wrap around the neck, or to wrap a lunch box, etc., for various purposes. The gauze material is soft to the touch and absorbs water well. Made in Japan. Takeo Takei: Children's picture artist Born in Okaya City, Nagano Prefecture, 1894-1958 [Aiming to create "pictures that touch children's hearts," Takeo Takei coined the term "children's picture" for himself. From the Taisho era to the Showa era, he was active in various artistic fields, including children's pictures, prints, published books, toy and playing card designs, and he is a representative Japanese artist who has always been inquisitive and challenged throughout his life. [Small Works of Prints] This collection of woodblock prints in miniatures in self-made ceramic frames became popular, and was accompanied by Takei's poetry in the seven-five syllable style. |
