Description
| [This hanagoza carpet won an award for excellence at the Fukuoka Prefecture's 2007 product fair, in which ethical (regional) design and quality are evaluated. It is finished with a triple weave that produces more vivid colors and patterns than bag weave. Domestic rush grass (from Kyushu) grown with reduced agricultural chemicals using organic fertilizers (a blend of cattle manure, pig manure, rice straw, etc.) is used. It is more durable and resilient than ordinary rush grass. The color browns more slowly than general rushes, and the blue color remains longer. As time goes by, the color changes to a candy color, and it becomes more graceful. In addition, each rush is sorted by hand and only the best ones are used, resulting in a beautiful and tasteful flower mat and a wonderful product. Rigusa has a natural purifying effect on the air and regulates humidity. It is also stain resistant, and as it is used, it changes its color to a golden brown, which gives it a distinctive taste.
