| This cup and saucer has a lovely retro, hideaway coffee shop feel to it. [The saucer can also be used as a pastry plate.] The oval saucer has a handmade feel and is slightly larger than the cups. The handmade oval saucer is slightly larger than the cup, so it can be used to serve sugar cubes or bite-size sweets. The saucer can also be used as a pastry plate by using the cup and saucer separately. [Point: Each piece has a different look.] The way the glaze flows and pools gives each vessel a different appearance. The blue glazed areas are smooth to the touch, while the brown areas are a little rough to the touch. The texture of each piece differs depending on the glaze. The cups have a curved shape at the mouth, and the handles are large enough to fit one or two fingers. |
