今回のモデルは、ケース素材に軽量かつ剛性の高い「カーボンファイバー強化樹脂」を使用。
耐衝撃性が強化されたことで、バンドとベゼルの着脱が可能になりました。
バンドには着脱・交換が簡単にできるスライドレバー式バンドを採用。
さらにベゼルには新たにネジを使わずにインナーフックで固定する仕組みを開発し、着脱可能なベゼルを実現しています。
インナーケースにはベゼルを外した時だけ見えるSHOCK RESISTロゴを配置するなど、細部にもこだわりました。
