Description
| A modern tenugui hand towel with a cute butterfly pattern. In addition to being used as a tenugui, it can also be used as an azuma bag by folding and sewing it along the ramune-colored part. Each item is dyed one by one at a dyeing factory in Sendai, using the traditional Japanese technique of shizome. [Shizome" is a traditional Japanese dyeing technique in which a layer of fabric is covered with a special glue and the dye is poured on top of the layer of fabric to dye the pattern. The pattern is then dyed on top of the layered fabric. Merry Merry Christmas Land original. |
