| -Comment from the designer The most important point is that the magnets are embedded inside the bag to eliminate stress when opening and closing the bag. It is no longer necessary to adjust the magnets when opening and closing the bag as in the past. The size of the bag is not too large, but is set to be an elegant size that can hold the necessary belongings for formal occasions. The gusset on the side opens wide at the bellows, and the beautiful feminine rounded form is very popular. The body of the bag is made of a pattern known as "variegated grosgrain," which we commissioned from a manufacturer in Yonezawa textile. Since most formal wear is plain, we wanted to use a pattern that would both accentuate the outfit and not be too assertive. This pattern is a standard fabric loved by many people among Yonezawa textiles. We chose this fabric because we were certain that it would be the best choice. (Whenever Iwasa purchases Yonezawa textile, we ask for water and oil repellent treatment.) The satin switch on the cover is made of strong polyester satin, not only as a design accent, but also because it is the part that touches the hand when opening and closing the bag. 最大のポイントは開閉時のストレスがなくなる様にバッグの内部にマグネットを埋め込んだことです。
従来の様に開閉時にマグネットを合わせる必要がなくなりました。
サイズは大き過ぎずフォーマルに必要な持ち物が入る上品なサイズに設定。
サイドにあるマチはジャバラ部分が大きく開き、女性らしい丸みのある美しいフォルムが人気です。
そして、かぶせ・胴体に使用しているのは米沢織にあるメーカー様に依頼をした「変わりグログラン」といわれる柄を使用。
フォーマルウェアは無地のものが多いので装いのアクセントとなる様にという気持ちとあまり主張し過ぎない柄という両方の思いがありました。
この柄は米沢織の中でも多くの人々に愛される定番生地です。
この生地を使用すれば間違いないと思い採用させて頂きました。
(岩佐は米沢織を仕入れる際はすべて撥水撥油加工をお願いしています)
かぶせのサテン切り替えはデザインアクセントという意味はもちろん開閉時に手に触れる部分なので強度のあるポリエステルサテンを使用。
光り過ぎない上質のサテンが米沢織の中で心地よいアクセントとなるようデザインしました。
