天龍窯ガラス釉
萩焼特有の陶土感と釉薬を使いつつ、上澄に見える綺麗なガラス層、
色ガラスの粉末を釉薬にしたガラス釉の色合いが、
キラキラと輝く仕上がりです。ソライロははっきりと、モモイロは優しく美味しく盛った食べ物を彩ります。
また萩焼の特徴である、手に持った時の味わい深さや、柔らかさを出すその焼締まりの少ない陶土と、
それに混ぜる釉薬の具合によって発生する「貫入」で釉薬の焼成と共に溶け、
温度が冷め固まることによってひび割れた状態がさらに使いこむことによって色素が溜まり、
色の変化が生じます。これを「萩の七変化」と言います。
