| The simple pale gray design of the [Surir] series is eye-catching. The base color is a matte, pale gray. The elegant form beautifully complements the dining table. [Surir] is Kasama-yaki. Kasama-yaki is pottery made in Kasama City, Ibaraki Prefecture. It is said that the kiln was opened in 1772-81 in the middle of the Edo period and is the oldest pottery production area in the Kanto region.
