[Duman] is Kasama-yaki. Kasama-yaki is a type of pottery produced in Kasama City, Ibaraki Prefecture. It is said that the kiln was established in the middle of the Edo period (1772-81) and is the oldest pottery production area in the Kanto region. 真っ黒なボディに洒落た取っ手のRIKIZO【ドゥマン】シリーズ。底の部分も蓋もフラットに仕上げることで、オシャレなデザインに。だけどぬくもりが残るのは、笠間焼で手作りされているから。カラーとフォルムが土鍋料理をスタイリッシュに仕上げてくれます。

【ドゥマン】は、は笠間焼です。笠間焼とは茨城県笠間市の焼き物。江戸時代中期1772〜81年に開窯されたと伝えられており、関東地方で最も古い焼き物産地です。現在では300人以上の陶芸家や窯元がいる窯業産地となっています。
