Soshu Kiln Since Ko-Kutani was first produced more than 319 years ago, the Soshu kiln has been producing ceramics in response to the demands of each period, In the 319-odd years since Ko-Kutani was first produced, masterpieces from each period have been handed down to the next generation. The most recent technique, "Gin-sai" (silver painting), was born.
