The traditional Japanese culture of living in harmony with nature is disappearing, and we need to preserve the remaining traditional buildings in the form of registered cultural properties, and rethink local lifestyles by learning the rationality and ingenuity of life in the past. This presentation will introduce examples of various activities conducted in various places to utilize old houses while preserving them, which are also contributing to the revitalization of local communities. |
