Description
The rich earth, sky and sea. This mug series is inspired by nature on earth. The glaze may have some penetrations. The cracks visible on the surface are called "kan-iri" and are one of the highlights of Japanese tableware. This is not due to damage to the product. [Nukiri] This is a technique that utilizes the difference between the clay and glaze during firing. These cracks are different from cracks in the base material, so there is no leakage or cracking from them. You can use it with peace of mind. [The difference between a penetration and a crack] If you touch the surface with your hand and feel a scratch, it is a crack. A "nuki" is formed on the inner surface of the glaze (surface color), so it does not scratch. [How to use and care] Before using the pot for the first time, we recommend that you stop the glaze (by boiling the pot in rice brine). For details, please refer to the instructions included with the product. [gift][made in Japan][mug][cup][Japanese][Minoyaki][pottery][handmade][coffee][coffee] |
