| The variety of shapes and decorations of donburi and dish bowls has had a profound influence on Japanese food culture. Cool Jyuso pattern [Thousand-step Jyuso]. The "Thousand-Step Juco" series is produced by a tableware manufacturer in Toki City, Gifu Prefecture, which was established in 1927 and mainly produces stoneware. [Stoneware" is a type of pottery fired at 1100 to 1250°C that has properties intermediate between those of ceramics and porcelain. The translation of the word is "? Stoneware" is also called "Sekki," "semi-porcelain," and "Yakishime" in translation. [The julienne grass pattern is a design drawn in vertical stripes and has been popular in Japan since ancient times. The julienne julienne pattern extending from the center of this series is dotted, giving it a Japanese atmosphere with a pop feeling, making it a Japanese tableware that can be used in daily life without being overbearing. 十草模様が涼しげな「千段十草」
昭和2年に創業した岐阜県土岐市にある、ストーンウェアを主に生産する食器メーカーが手がける『千段十草』シリーズ。
「ストーンウェア」とは、1100〜1250℃で焼成される、陶器と磁器の中間的な性質を持つ焼き物のこと。訳語では"？器(せっき)"や"半磁器"、"焼締め"などとも呼ばれています。
「十草模様」は縦縞(ストライプ)に描かれたデザインで、古くから日本で親しまれてきた模様の一つです。
この千段十草シリーズは中央から伸びる十草模様が点線になっているため、和の雰囲気の中にポップさも感じ、肩肘張らずに日常使いできるような和食器となっています。
