大正十二年の関東大震災の後大きく変貌した東京の町にモボ（モダンボーイ）・モガ（モダンガール）と言われる若者達が登場しました。
中でもモダンガールに人気があったのは、海外のテキスタイルデザインを取り入れた「銘仙」と言われる絹織物。
ポップな柄の着物で街を歩くことは当時の新しいスタイルでした。
そんな銘仙のカラフルな世界と細かな絣り織の雰囲気を再現し、ふろしきにアレンジしました。
