| isago pattern The Isago Pattern Institute creates innovative and delicate patterns using the traditional stencil dyeing technique. To bring out the charm of these patterns, Musubi collaborated with skilled Kyoto craftsmen to develop Japan's first double-sided dyed furoshiki. All of the patterns are imbued with a meaning of good fortune, and can be used for a wide range of purposes, including as gifts. It is also popular for use as a bag, and is highly appreciated by customers in Japan and abroad for its ability to be coordinated with the color variation of the front and back sides of the cloth. The life force of the pine tree, which never ceases to be green, has been regarded as a symbol of longevity.
