| [New in 2021] EDER sandals have arrived from Italy. Due to the recent situation, this is the first time to remotely place a special order! It was not easy to communicate remotely to a person in a foreign country, but we were able to create sandals with a wonderful color scheme. Introducing EDER, leather sandals made in Italy. These sandals have a simple design, but the metallic part subtly shines through. The 1.5cm low heel is a little higher than flats, but the insole is cushioned for perfect comfort. These sandals are handmade by craftsmen in the Puglia region of southern Italy, where shoe production is flourishing. Unprocessed leather is post-dyed with natural dyes, then hand-colored and dried by craftsmen. Therefore, there are some sandals with uneven coloring, but we hope you will enjoy the coloring as one of the tastes of sandals made by human hands. [EDER] Established in 1983 in a small village called Molfetta in the suburb of Bari, the central city of Puglia in southern Italy. The founder and current president, Mr. Mauro De*Bari, started out as a specialized atelier producing sandal soles, but within a few years began designing a wide range of sandals from children's to men's sizes. The Puglia region is Italy's traditional leather shoe production area and has many skilled shoemakers, but the collection is made in Italy with a low price range thanks to the efficient use of relatively inexpensive labor, a wide variety of leathers, and a very small inventory. The collection is made in Italy, but the price range is kept low. The products are finished with leather that is slightly imperfect and unevenly dyed, which retains the texture of handwork, and have attracted the attention of buyers in Japan and abroad who are used to seeing uniform mass production in Asia. イタリアよりEDERのサンダルが届きました。
昨今の情勢上、初のリモートで別注！
異国の方へリモートで伝えることは容易ではありませんでしたが、素敵な配色のサンダルが出来上がりました。
イタリア製レザーサンダル、EDERのご紹介です。
シンプルなデザインのサンダルかと思いきや、メタリック部分がさりげなく光るサンダル。
1.5cmのローヒールでペタンコよりも少し高いくらいですが、インソールにはクッションも入り履き心地の良さは申し分なし。
南イタリアにある靴の生産が盛んなプーリア地方にて職人さんによる手作りのサンダル。
未加工の革に天然色素で後染めをし、職人が手作業で色付けし乾燥。その為少し色むらなども見受けられるものもありますが、人の手で作られたサンダルの一つの味として、その色加減も楽しんで頂ければと存じます。

南イタリアはプーリア州の中心都市、バリ郊外モルフェッタという小さな村で1983年に創業。創業者で現在の社長でもあるマウロ・デ・バリ氏は当初サンダルのソールを製造する専門アトリエであったが、数年のうちにキッズからメンズサイズまで多岐にわたるサンダルをデザインするようになり現在に至る。
プーリア地方は、イタリアにおける昔からのレザーシューズの産地だけに熟練した靴職人が多いが、比較的安価な労働力を効率よく使い、レザーの種類も広げず在庫も極力少量に抑える手法により、イタリア製でありながらもプライスゾーンが低く抑えられているコレクションとなっている。
毎年新しくコレクションを40型以上出すデザイングループでもあるが、手作業の風合いが残る若干不完全で、染めムラのあるレザーを使用した仕上がりの商品は、画一的な大量生産のアジア生産を見慣れた国内外のバイヤーの注目の的となっており、イタリアはもちろんフランス、ドイツ、イギリスほか、北米、日本、韓国にも数多く輸出されている。
