The reverse side of this fabric is coated with polyurethane. It is characterized by its waterproof and moisture permeability (to allow vapor to escape) while maintaining the lightweight texture of cotton fabric. The coating also makes the fabric taut and can be used without being cut. It can be sewn smoothly with a sewing machine like normal cotton fabrics. It can be used for a wide range of products such as accessories, bags, rainwear, outdoor goods, and baby goods. *There is a peculiar odor upon delivery, but this will be reduced by leaving the fabric in a well-ventilated and dry place. Also, the coating may peel off due to heavy friction or aging. This is unavoidable due to the nature of the PU coating, so please be aware of this before purchasing. |
