| New denim pants are here. We have not been able to offer new denim for a long time, but we have finally finished a pair of denim pants with a high degree of perfection. The denim pants that we have been producing as a standard item until now have been rather slim silhouettes. Slim silhouettes have always been in demand and will continue to be in the future. However, there are many [box A-line silhouette] products that are gaining popularity in tops now. When considering compatibility with this silhouette, we have created a very good overall balance. Although the silhouette is wide, the exquisite taper makes these wide pants relatively easy to wear. With oversized tops now the mainstream, I feel that this type of silhouette is becoming indispensable for bottoms as well. Now let's talk about the details. The motif of this collection is the French Military (French Navy) denim service pants. Also known as "China blue," they are known as one of the most famous items of the French military. They are utility pants mainly used for work, but the detailing is similar to that of slacks. The appearance unique to Euro-military, which is somewhat refined along with the solid and sturdy atmosphere of military items, is also one of the charms. Also, the hooks at the waist have the details of the Australian military fatigues (Gurkha) pants. The original version has dot buttons, but to make it look the same and to make it easier to put on and take off, we used hooks attached to the collar of stainless coats and the like. It also serves as a point of reference for the waist-in style that is slowly taking root. Since the silhouette is thicker, the inseam length has been adjusted so that it can be worn as is in a rugged manner or rolled up to take advantage of the red ears for a smart look. Although these denim pants have a casual impression, the clean tapered silhouette and sewing with the same color threads give the bottoms a somewhat cool and refreshing feeling. New denim pants. 長らく新しいデニムのご提案ができておりませんでしたが、ようやく完成度の高いデニムパンツが仕上がりました。
これまで定番として生産してきたデニムパンツはどちらかと言いますと、スリムシルエットのものが多くございました。
スリムシルエットはいつの時代にも需要があり、これからも有り続けるものかと思います。
ただ、今トップスで人気を博している『ボックスAラインシルエット』の商品が多くございます。
このシルエットとの相性を考慮した時に、全体のバランスがすごく良いものに仕上げました。
ワイドシルエットながらも、絶妙なテーパード具合により比較的取り入れて頂きやすいワイドパンツかと思います。
オーバーサイズのトップスが主流の今、ボトムスもこの手のシルエットは欠かせなくなってきているように感じます。
ここからはディテールのお話になります。
今回モチーフとしたのが、French Military(フランス海軍)デニムサービスパンツです。
チャイナブルーとも言われるフランス軍の中でも名品の呼び声高いアイテムとして知られています。
主に作業用として使用されているユーティリティパンツなんですが、ディティールはスラックスに近い印象を受けます。
軍物の質実剛健な雰囲気と共にどこか洗練されたユーロミリタリーならではの佇まいも魅力の一つです。
また、ウエスト部分のホックには、オーストラリア軍ファティーグ(グルカ)パンツのディティールをプラスしています。
オリジナルはドットボタン仕様ですが、見た目は同じように見えて、尚且つ着脱もしやすいよう、ステンカラーコートなどの台衿につけるための付属フックを使用しました。
じわじわと定着しつつある、ウエストインスタイルにもポイントになります。
太めのシルエットなので、そのまま無骨に履いても良いですし、赤耳を活かしてロールアップしてもスマートに履いていただけるよう股下丈を調整しています。
カジュアルな印象のデニムパンツですが、綺麗なテーパードシルエットと同色系の糸で縫製することで、どこか清涼感を感じるボトムスに仕上げています。
