都内でも巡れるお大師様ゆかりのお遍路コースを
わかりやすく解説します。
◇ 御府内八十八ヶ所とは ◇
弘法大師様が修行を行った四国の地で八十八の寺院を選び
四国八十八ヶ所を開創しました。
この八十八ヶ所のお寺を巡礼することがお遍路です。
当初は修行僧がお遍路をしたと言われていますが、
一二〇〇年の時を経た現代でも弘法大師様への信仰を持ち、
日本全国から四国に訪れる人々が後を絶ちません。
しかし、四国まで足を運ぶのはそう簡単ではありませんよね。
そこで四国八十八ヶ所霊場のお砂を
関東の弘法大師様に縁のある八十八ヶ所の寺院に勧請したのが
「御府内八十八ヶ所」です。
弘法大師様の像の周りに立つ柱に四国の霊場のお砂が埋め込まれています。
御府内の霊場は四国の霊場と違い真言宗の寺院だけではなく
様々な宗派があります。
一つ一つの寺院にそれぞれの住職様がおり、
様々な考えや思いに触れることができるのが御府内ならではの
魅力ではないでしょうか。
