| A tenugui (hand towel) with a ginkgo pattern in subdued colors. It can be used as a handkerchief or towel, or displayed in a room to create a chic atmosphere. Some ginkgo trees are over 1,000 years old, and the word "longevity" in the language of flowers is said to derive from the grandeur of the old tree. It is also an auspicious plant with the meaning of "solemn" because it is often planted as a sacred tree in shrines.
