金属とガラス、全く違う素材を結合させたホーローは、それぞれの良い面のみが活かされています。
酸と塩に強いので、梅干し、漬物、マリネなどの保存や、果実を煮込むジャムやトマト料理にも適しています。
●においがつかない
ホーローは表面がガラス質なので、におい移りの心配がありません。においが気になるお料理にも安心して使えます。
●汚れが落ちやすい
表面がなめらかなガラス質なので、水や中性洗剤で洗うだけで汚れが落ち、清潔さを保ちます。
●熱に強い
ホーローの釉薬は800〜850℃の高温で焼き付けます。体熱性に優れているのでオーブンにそのまま入れられます。
