Description
Seishu Himeyama Honjozo [Seishu Himeyama] Himeyama Honjozo is a dry sake brewed with rice from Fukui Prefecture. It is a dry sake brewed with rice grown in Fukui Prefecture. The brewery is located in Shimizu-cho, formerly known as Tamu-gun, which is known as one of the best rice-producing areas in Fukui Prefecture. The water used for brewing is drawn from pellucid underground water that slowly flows into the ground from melting snow 15 meters below ground. The water source of the brewery, called Otome Valley in ancient times, is lit by fireflies in summer. Himeyama sake is made by combining the blessings of nature, nurtured in a rich natural environment, with the outstanding skills of the brewers, and their unsparing love for their craft.
