The surface of the piece is glazed with a rose quartz glaze to make it fit moderately in your fingers when you hold it in your hand. [The surface is glazed with a technique called "rokube" so that it will fit your fingers well when you hold it in your hand. The surface has a bumpy uneven pattern. The knowledge and experience gained over nearly 100 years since the company's founding have enabled us to create a product that is both beautiful and durable.
