| M&M Socks supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). On September 25-27, 2015, the UN Sustainable Development Summit was held at UN Headquarters in New York, where 17 SDG initiatives were adopted with the participation of over 150 heads of state and government. M&M Socks has been promoting its own SDG initiatives, producing sustainable products and conducting environmental activities. As part of these efforts, we have decided to launch a new product! *Made of eco-friendly organic cotton *The hooks are not made of plastic, but rubber rings discarded in the sock production process. *History to date December 2020: Eliminate paper catalogs. If each catalog had 30 sheets, about 5,000 sheets of paper would have been printed annually. Considering the environment, M&M Socks has discontinued the use of paper catalogs. January 2018 Welfare Initiatives [Socks for Camel Feet®]. M&M Socks' [Mr. Foot Camel's Socks®] is a brand that collects welfare products handled by the company. Designed by a staff member qualified as a care worker, "Mr. Rakuda's Socks®" are products that are designed with the feelings of those who wear them and the thoughts of those who purchase them in mind. May 22, 2016 Donation of Stockings to Schools We donated stockings to Minami Daishi Junior High School in Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture, for use in the "Centipede Race" at their gymnastic festival held on May 28, 2016. We received a direct inquiry from a teacher and donated stockings that were to be disposed of at the factory due to sewing defects or pulling. Later, we received a polite letter and a picture of the scene of the sports festival. January 2015 HOME, Natural Fibers (13 applicable products) M&M Socks has been developing sustainable products in each of its brands. In particular, leggings and other products under the brand [HOME] launched in 2015 are made from natural fibers such as cotton, silk, and Japanese paper, which are gifts from nature. (Due to wearability issues, the elastic waistband and other parts contain about 1% synthetic fibers.) There is also a brand called [Natural Fibers], which was derived from and born from these fibers.
