| This rectangular luncheon mat is printed on hand-woven linen with a swirl pattern inspired by sashiko. The irregular and detailed embroidery is expressed in a way that only handwork can. It can be easily used in daily life without worrying about snagging of threads. It is different from solid colors, but not too flashy. The subdued coloring makes it easy to match with any table coordinate, whether Japanese or Western, and subtly complements the tableware.
