Banko-yaki is a traditional handicraft made in Yokkaichi City, Mie Prefecture, and is famous for its excellent heat resistance. This kyusu is made from clay suitable for kyusu and traditional pottery making techniques. It can brew 2 to 3 cups of tea.

*[An atmospheric kyusu with a beautiful Oribe glaze and earthy flavor].
The green color of the Oribe glaze enhances the taste of the clay. The design is based on a flower kanmuri motif, and the handle has a rounded shape that is easy to grip.

*Integrated tea strainer for easy spreading of tea leaves].
The tea leaves open evenly and beautifully in the kyusu, enabling the extraction of all the ingredients of delicious tea. The astringent component of tea is reduced to a moderate level. The tea leaves are evenly spread out in the kyusu, allowing the tastiest ingredients to be extracted without excess.
