Heisei Nabeshima Series
[Heisei Nabeshima" is Densakigama's original term, meaning an evolved version of Nabeshima ware.
Nabeshima" refers to the colored Nabeshima porcelain, a high-grade porcelain fired in a kiln directly operated by the Nabeshima clan in Saga and made for use as votive offerings.
Densakigama's original "Heisei Nabeshima" is the only unique pottery that combines the atmosphere of Nabeshima and our kiln's characteristic porcelain and pottery into a single piece, and is painted on it. Porcelain and ceramics have different raw materials, processes, and firing temperatures, and it is extremely difficult to combine the two into a single piece of pottery.
Please enjoy the graceful vessels that only Densaku Kiln can produce by interweaving pottery and porcelain.
