About washing
Wool sauna hats do not need to be washed every time. Wool is stain-resistant and has antibacterial properties, etc. The most effective way to care for it on a daily basis is to dry it in a well-ventilated place after use. If you are concerned about stains or odor, soak the felt hat in a basin of water and mild detergent for 3 to 5 minutes, then gently push it through the wash cycle. Do not wring the felt. If you wring it too hard, it will shrink or lose its shape.
