Kato is a direct descendant of Kato Fujishiro Keisho, the founder of Seto Ceramic Works, and is the origin of many potters with the surname of "Kato. He succeeded to the name of Karasaburo Kato, the 31st generation, in 1991, and has been selected for the Tokai Traditional Crafts Exhibition since 1974, and has also been selected for the Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition every year since the 25th exhibition in 1978 until the 36th exhibition in 1989. This product is made by Rie Kato, the second daughter of the 31st Karasaburo Kato. Please enjoy a moment of bliss with works backed by traditional taste and reliable techniques. |

平成3年に第31代加藤唐三郎を襲名し昭和49年の入選以来、東海伝統工芸展には今日まで連続入選を果たし、また日本伝統工芸展は昭和53年の第25回以来平成元年の第36回まで毎年入選し、若くして名門「唐三郎」の名声を継ぐ陶芸家です。
こちらの製品は名門第31世加藤唐三郎氏の次女 加藤リエによる作品です。
