Since each piece is painted by hand, there are variations in the thickness and intensity of the paint, and lines are broken off in the middle, giving each piece a different appearance.

| Issei Pottery Snow Fruits ISSEITOUKI YUKINOMI This series is named "Yukinomimi" (snow fruit) because of the fluffy white dots dancing in the soft, light-colored glaze, which resemble snow. The transparent, pale glaze creates a gentle atmosphere. The white dots are drawn using a glaze-repelling property called "water repellency. The white dots are surrounded by burnt brown because the characteristic of water repellency creates areas where the glaze does not stick, and these areas are burnt. Because a light glaze is used, the glaze may be uneven or dripping in some areas, and the glaze may be lighter on the handles and edges. The finish is not uniformly beautiful. There are many disadvantages. But there are advantages that outweigh them. So we decided to sell it. The handmade feeling of craftsmanship. Warmth. Gentle atmosphere. There is a good handmade feel to the vessel. [Mugs (4 colors) A slightly larger mug. It looks good to put soup in it. |

ISSEITOUKI YUKINOMI
ふわっとした淡い色味の釉薬に、ふわふわと舞う白いドットが雪の様で、雪の実と命名したシリーズ。
透明感のある淡い釉薬は優しい雰囲気を醸し出してくれています。
撥水という釉薬をはじく特性を利用して白いドットを描いています。
白いドットの周りが茶色に焦げているのは、撥水の特性で釉薬がつかない部分が出来て、その部分が焦げてしまう為です。
淡い釉薬を使用している為、釉薬のムラや垂れが目立つ箇所もありますし、ハンドル部分やフチの部分の釉薬が薄くなってしまうこともあります。
均一に綺麗には仕上がりません。
短所がたくさんあります。
だけど、それを超える長所があります。
なので、販売を決意しました。
職人の手作り感。温かみ。優しい雰囲気。
手作り感のある器の良さがあります。
