| Kohana cohana Japanese handmade pincushion, needle holder, sewing, needle holder, Japanese cypress The small "mame-masu" (small bean measuring box) created by delicate craftsmanship is made into a lovely needle holder that fits in the palm of your hand. Made of fragrant Japanese cypress, the shape of the Masu is maintained by a technique called "araregumi". The fabric of the needlepoint needle is made of high quality linen woven in Hamamatsu, and the needle passes smoothly through the fabric. The fabric is carefully dyed by hand from raw fabric, and features soothing colors and the rich expression of natural materials. The needle for the dragonfly beads is made by kinari glass in Osaka. The contrast between clear and colored glass is beautiful, and the simple hooks are the same color as the needles. *Because Masu is natural wood, there may be differences in color, grain, and knots. The linen used for the needlepoint needlepoint is dyed at different times of the year.
