To commemorate the 400th anniversary of the birth of the Rimpa school, we have created a one-page note that allows you to enjoy this work close at hand! The original is 13 meters long, and Sotatsu depicted the long flight of a flock of cranes from their first flight to their return to the shore to rest their wings. Calligraphy: Honami Koetsu Born in Kyoto between 1558 and 1637. In addition to his family's swordsmanship, he produced great works in a wide variety of fields. In particular, he is known as one of the "Three Writings of Kan'ei" in the field of Noh calligraphy. In his later years, he established an art village called Koetsu-mura in Takagamine, where he produced various works of art. His representative works are Waka scroll with underpainting of cranes (collaboration with Tawaraya Sotatsu)][Funabashi maki-e inkstone box]. 琳派の始祖・俵屋宗達と、「寛永の三筆」と称される本阿弥光悦による奇跡のコラボレーション作品『重要文化財 鶴図下絵和歌巻』(京都国立博物館蔵)。琳派誕生400年を記念し本作品が身近に楽しめる一筆箋をお作りしました!
永禄元〜寛永14年(1558〜1637)、京都生まれ。家業の刀剣の三事のほかにも多岐にわたる分野で偉大な作品をつくりあげた。特に能書では「寛永の三筆」と称される。晩年には鷹ヶ峯に光悦村といわれる芸術村を開き、様々な芸術作品を制作した。代表作は『重文 鶴図下絵和歌巻(俵屋宗達との合作)』『船橋蒔絵硯箱』。
