| The National Treasure [Wind and Thunder Gods] (owned by Kenninji) was painted by Tawaraya Sotatsu, a painter of the Edo period, It is said to have been painted by Tawaraya Sotatsu, a painter of the Edo period. About 70 years later, Korin Ogata copied it, and about 100 years later, Hoitsu Sakai copied it. About a hundred years later, [Sakai Hoitsu] copied it, thus establishing the Rimpa school of art.
