Description
| Rustic figurine of Ayacucho Ayacucho is a region famous for its pottery, the origin of which is said to date back to 3000 years ago! The indigenous people of the region used to place unglazed animals and other objects to protect their homes. After the Spanish invasion, these were replaced by churches and crosses. This custom continues to this day, with unglazed churches of the saints on the roofs. Many ceramics are also made as folk art. Click here to see other Ayacucho unglazed items #Ethical (Region) |

この地方の先住民たちは家の守護のために素焼きの動物などを置いていました
スペインによる侵略後はこれらが教会や十字架に変わりました
