山口晃（やまぐち あきら）
1969年（昭和50）、群馬県生まれ。東京芸術大学美術学部絵画科油画博士課程を修了。油絵を用いながら、浮世絵や大和絵を思わせる手法で現代の人物や風景を古今東西のイメージに織り込むユーモラスな作品を発表している。書籍の装丁、襖絵など幅広いジャンルで活躍中。代表作は『四天王立像』『百貨店圖 日本橋三越』。
