He produced many prints of actors' portraits intensively based on Kabuki plays shown from 1794 to New Year's the following year, but retired from the Ukiyo-e world after that. Sharaku Tōshusai
Date of birth and death unknown. He produced many prints of actors' portraits intensively based on Kabuki plays shown from 1794 to New Year's the following year, but retired from the Ukiyo-e world after that. 薄い台紙に貼り付けた状態の額絵です。
東洲斎 写楽（とうしゅうさい しゃらく）
生没年不詳。寛政6（1794）年から翌年正月まで上映された歌舞伎狂言に取材して多くの役者絵版画を集中的に制作したが、その後浮世絵界から退いたため消息はわからない。140余点の版画作品が残されている。代表作は『大谷鬼次の奴江戸兵衛』『市川蝦蔵の竹村定之進』。
