Shinzangama Yamatsu ground_grip Stacking Mug - blue green
Shinzangama Ground mug - blue green

[Thoughts on the ground series]
Mino ware is the largest ceramic production area* in Japan.
Probably the most [soil] is used in Japan.
What is good quality soil and what is valuable soil?
We have focused on "recycled soil.
We believe that this is the time when the value of recycled soil can be shared with everyone,
[We have started to bake ceramics named "ground".

[ground_grip Act II: Mugs]
Clay, feldspar, and silica stone are indispensable for making ceramics.
These are exhaustible natural resources created by the earth's environment over a tremendously long period of time.
We have created planter pots as a start of products using recycled soil in order to continue to use these precious resources with care forever.
... And the second act was mugs.
Mugs are probably the "depression" that many people have in their hands every day.
For a few of us, it may be a "depression" that we keep by our side for 12 hours or more.
For this year's mugs, we used recycled materials not only for the fabric but also for the glaze, making them even more environmentally friendly.

(Porcelain: 20% recycled clay used, Glaze: approx. 77% or more recycled material used)

[Our idea of happy, carefree living]
The vessels we use every day,
If only the materials we use every day were friendly to the earth we live on,
If they were made from materials that should have been thrown away,
Every time I use it,
I can feel kindness every time I use it.

A little bit of care,
If you do this..,
Someone might be happy.
But..,
It may not even be a big deal.

That's what we seriously think about in our profession.
We are the ones who take care "to be happy" in our livelihood.

*Small differences in the size, shape, and expression of each product may occur due to the characteristics of the clay and glaze used as raw materials. Please enjoy them as individual beauty peculiar to porcelain products.
*Due to the characteristics of recycled glaze, there may be black spots like moles or uneven coloring. Please understand this in advance.
