This is a series of masterpieces on folding screens related to battles, published by Convenience Store.

This folding screen depicts "Ichinotani Gassenzu (Battle of Ichinotani)" in the Genpei War, based on the account in the Tale of the Heike (Tale of the Heike). The left screen depicts Taira no Atsumori on horseback swinging back in the sea in deep blue on a gold background, while the right screen depicts Kumagai Naozane calling back to his master on the beach in gold on a deep blue background. The two mounted warriors are depicted in gorgeous colors in a bold composition that places the entire composition in a negative-positive relationship.
