He studied Japanese studies, Confucianism, and Buddhism, and while pursuing his studies, he produced outstanding literati paintings, and was said to be the "last of the literati. His most famous work is "Abeno Nakamaro Meishu Mangetsuzu" (Heavy Cultural Property: Abeno Nakamaro's Moon Watching in Meishu). |
