Collaboration kyusu of Tokoname ware & Kutani ware

Tokoname-yaki has been produced in Aichi Prefecture since the Heian Period. Kutani ware has been produced in Ishikawa Prefecture since the Edo period.
A beautiful kyusu was born from the fusion of these two techniques and beauties.

The kyusu is made of black mud by Mr. Hirotaka Umehara, a traditional craftsman of Tokoname ware, and hand-painted by Mr. Tsugimori Tamura, a Kutani ware painter. This special kyusu combines ease of use and beauty. It is also an excellent gift.
